| My luck today was brutal, but at the same time I'm now feeling great going into my WSOP adventure tomorrow.

| I slept til noon, Joann til one after being railbirds for stud 8/b last night. I bought into the 4pm mega stack, 6-handed PLO at Caesar's and the we went back to the Bellagio buffet. Can't get enough of it...

| So into the mega stack, and I played great. Only lost small pots, only won big pots. But a lot of small pots so my stack was up and down. But what I loved about today was that I won exactly one pot with a made hand (I thought I only had a nut flush, actually had aces full, didn't matter...). Ever other big pot I won was with just a draw. Big draws, but draws nonetheless.

| in the end I was all in an 80-20 favorite against a guy who was stealing from me all night. I tried to buy on the flop with air, I caught top set on the turn and check raised the thief to pot commit him on nothing but a draw but with a bunch of his outs giving me a boat...unfortunately he caught one of the few outs he had...he rivered a straight.

| The big picture here is that in just my second omaha tourney I felt I played great even tho it didn't work out. Really looking forward to tomorrow.

| So I bought into the 7:00 and in the first round I had aces cracked by A-J, bought back in, within 30 minutes flopped a set of Qs and ran into a flopped set of Ks. Ouch. Bought into the 10pm, and in the second round got all in w/ 2pr and he rivered a flush...ugh!

| So now we're railbirds at yesterdays $5K 6-handed PLO watching a table w/ Dwan, Mercier and Devilfish. They just broke down to six tables.

| So we're sticking with the plan for tomorrow. Event 39, Pot Limit Hold'em/Omaha mix at 5:00pm. Wish me luck! |
