| Update: I'm staying one more day than originally planned. I never dropped my reservation for the full week and Frontier allowed me to change my flight to the next day for only "difference in airfare" which was a very small amount. Really, how can I pass up a $16 hotel room?

| I've also added Mike W to the list, he is a friend of Leon's who like Paul is on our mailing list but hasn't been able to make one of our poker games yet. But he has been playing at Jerry's game so I've met him and he will be part of our vegas "crew".

| Things have firmed up. Joann will not be going, I will be in Vegas Saturday through Thursday. Leon, Paul and two Brian's are all 100% going. Dates vary a little but we mostly overlap. Nick has been telling me for a while he's probably going but hasn't reserved anything yet. Tommy has stopped threatening to join us, Matt (for those who remember good ol' Matt, been a long time) continues to threaten to go but he's been threatening for years and I think he's only followed through when there was softball to be played as well.

| Right now the plan is to play in mostly noon/1pm and 7pm tournaments at Wynn and Aria (and maybe Caesar's). I'm fairly certain that unless something happens to change my mind I will play at Aria every night at 7:00, I was planning to play at Wynn at noon at least some days but not necessarily every day...but Paul is talking up the Aria 1:00 so it sounds more like we're going to play just about all of our poker there. (Sorry, Poto, I don't see making the trip to Binions when there are great tournaments in walking distance...)

| Having said that, tho, there is an intriguing new possibility. MGM Grand is running a "Grand Challenge" poker series that includes a non-hold'em tournament every night that we're there. Omaha 8/b on Saturday, PLO Sunday w/ rebuys, Stud 8/b on Monday and HORSE on Tuesday. Every one of them is very tempting to me, I'm probably going to go see what kind of crowds they're getting and decide whether or not to get into one of them. The problem is the timing, they are 5:00 starts. I would hate to eat dinner around 4pm, decide not to play and then have nothing to do until Aria at 7:00.

| Also, I know that this is the April blog but I've started up a June blog as well as you can see to the right. The WSOP schedule is out and I've already picked out a tentative week to go... |

Like I said, I'll be staying at the Rio, Just across I15 from City Center, Look for me at the Aria at the 1's and 7's might do cash games at the rio as well. |
